These terms constitute an agreement between you, the client ("you"), and KM Tourism (KM Tourism di K.M.) ("KM Tourism", "we", "us"). They apply to all enquiries, quotes, and arrangements made through our website or directly with our team. Where you make an enquiry or a booking on behalf of others (for example, a family or a travelling party), you confirm that you are authorised to do so and that you accept these terms on their behalf.
KM Tourism designs and arranges bespoke, tailor-made private journeys. Our service consists of curating and coordinating travel experiences on your behalf — this may include private guides, drivers, accommodation, dining, and exclusive experiences, sourced from carefully selected third-party suppliers.
KM Tourism acts as an intermediary (agent), arranging and coordinating travel services performed by third-party suppliers — such as private guides, drivers, accommodation, dining, and experience providers. Those suppliers are responsible for the services they perform, and their own terms and conditions apply.
Submitting an enquiry through our website or contacting us does not create any binding contract. It is an invitation for us to prepare a proposal. Following your enquiry, we will discuss your requirements and provide a tailored quote. Any quote is an estimate based on the information you provide and the availability of the services at that time, and it may be subject to change until confirmed.
A binding contract between you and KM Tourism is formed only once we have issued a written confirmation of your booking and any required deposit or payment has been received in accordance with the terms of that confirmation. Until then, no booking is guaranteed.
Because every journey is tailor-made, pricing is arranged privately and is not published or transacted on this website. Prices are confirmed in your written quote and are typically expressed in euros unless otherwise agreed. Unless stated, quotes do not include international flights, travel insurance, gratuities, personal expenses, or any items described as excluded.
Payment terms, including any deposit and the balance due date, will be set out in your confirmation. All payments are arranged directly with us off-site through the payment method we agree with you. Prices may be affected by factors outside our control, such as currency fluctuations or supplier increases; any such changes will be communicated to you before they take effect.
If you wish to change or cancel a confirmed booking, please tell us in writing as soon as possible. Because bespoke journeys are built around reservations with third-party suppliers, changes and cancellations may incur charges, and some deposits or payments may be non-refundable depending on the supplier terms and how close to departure the request is made.
As a general guide: cancellations made 30 or more days before departure receive a full refund of amounts paid to us, less any supplier costs already committed and non-refundable at that point; cancellations made 15–29 days before departure are subject to a 50% cancellation charge; and cancellations made less than 15 days before departure, or no-shows, are non-refundable. The exact deadlines and amounts for your specific journey will be set out in your written confirmation. If we need to make a significant change to your confirmed arrangements for reasons beyond our control, we will offer you a suitable alternative or a refund of amounts that we can recover from suppliers.
We take reasonable care and skill in designing your journey and in selecting the third-party suppliers we recommend. However, many elements of your trip are delivered directly by independent suppliers — such as hotels, guides, drivers, and experience providers — who are responsible for the services they perform. As an intermediary, we are not liable for the acts, omissions, or default of those suppliers, and their services are subject to their own terms and conditions.
We are not liable for any failure or delay in the performance of our obligations that results from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, strikes, civil unrest, acts of terrorism, epidemics or pandemics, government restrictions, or transport disruptions ("force majeure"). To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our liability to you is limited to the amounts you have paid to us for the affected arrangements, and we exclude liability for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under mandatory Italian or EU law. We strongly recommend that you hold comprehensive travel insurance appropriate to your journey.
All content on the KM Tourism website — including text, photographs, imagery, logos, graphics, itineraries, and design — is owned by or licensed to KM Tourism and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and share this content for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, or use any of our content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
These terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, our website, or our services are governed by the laws of Italy. Subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights that entitle you to bring proceedings in your country of residence, the courts of Milan (Lombardy), Italy, shall have jurisdiction. Before pursuing any formal dispute, we encourage you to contact us so that we can try to resolve the matter amicably.
